The Spinner Shark is a slender-bodied shark known for its characteristic spinning leaps out of the water while feeding. It has a long, pointed snout, small eyes, and lacks an interdorsal ridge. They are active, migratory sharks.

- Gray to bronze-gray dorsally, white ventrally. Fins may have dusky tips.
