About
The muskellunge is a large, relatively slender fish with a long body and a duckbill-shaped snout. They are ambush predators, lying in wait for prey and striking with great speed and power.

- 28-48 inches, 5-36 lbs
- Colors
- Silver, light green, or brown with dark vertical bars or spots on their sides. Some may have no markings.
- Diet
- Primarily fish, but also consumes crayfish, frogs, snakes, ducklings, and small mammals.
- Region
- Primarily found in the Great Lakes region, the St. Lawrence River, and upper portions of the Mississippi River basin. Also found in some Canadian provinces.
