About
The Lahontan Cutthroat Trout is the largest subspecies of cutthroat trout and is known for its iridescent colors and distinctive red or orange slash marks on either side of its throat. They are opportunistic feeders and exhibit a wide range of behaviors depending on their environment, including stream-dwelling and lake-dwelling forms.
