The Giant Trevally, also known as GT, is a large, predatory fish with a streamlined body and a deeply forked tail. They are known for their aggressive hunting behavior and are often seen ambushing prey near reefs and shorelines.

- Colors
- Silvery-grey to dark grey or black, often with darker blotches or spots. Juveniles can be more silvery.

- Carnivorous, feeding primarily on fish, crustaceans (crabs, shrimp), and cephalopods (squid, octopus).

- Not typically found in the US, but occasionally seen in Hawaii.
